I'm a keen amateur photographer who is learning every day. Photography is a passion and a hobby that's taken over my life. So much so I'm looking to take courses on photography (as well as drawing) with the Open College of Arts. I really enjoy taking photos but feel I have a lot of room for improvement. Saying that I can definitely see I've got better since getting serious in late 2007.

I would like to eventually combine photography with my other interests; travelling, cycling & pencil drawing. But currently I'm out of work nursing my Mother. I do make sure, though, I take some time out for my photography. My main genres are landscapes, nature, animals, events and sport.

Along with photography I have also started to learn Photoshop loving manipulating and tidying my photos. I've found Photoshop very easy to pick up and use but, again, there is lots to learn.

You can buy Borderlands (PC) cheaper at HMV, Lovefilm, ASDA and GAME than you can on Steam - just doesn’t make sense.

Can you not buy full-priced games on Xbox Live? Xbox needs a ‘Steam’ service. :-)

The Haunting in Connecticut is a very scary movie, well worth a watch.

A sunny day? This can’t be right - though I’m not complaining. :-)

A spider just wandered onto my keyboard, how rude. :-) I tried to get the chap out the door but fell of the paper half way there.

Cool, Foo Fighters on Later… with Jools Holland tonight. :-) They are playing their great old hits. :-D

Google Wave is very slow! :-(

Not an interesting line-up on Jonathan Ross tonight. Two Williams’, can’t stand either of them. :-( Roll on Jools. :-)

I saw a deal in a shop window for a 7” netbook type computer for £100. A mini-me. Could be something to take on my commute to work? :-)

Thanks for all the Posterous adds this week. Sadly I don’t think I’ll be using it again, wasn’t impressed with their customer service. :-(

Caught a bit of Jimmy’s Food Factory this week & thought it was very interesting, will watch all 3 this w/e on iPlayer: http://bit.ly/2LCYcO

Mass Effect only £6.49 on Steam this weekend. Should I buy it?

More spam got through on Gmail! :-(

Still no lists in Seesmic Desktop for me. Should it automatically update itself?

Having to sit in the living room while Eastenders is on. Gosh is it awful, why do people watch this rubbish?
